Devon Boathouse - Home of OCU Rowing
We do consider every project we develop to be cool. But every once in a while one comes along that is so dripping with cool the plans drive themselves to your office on a motorcycle wearing a leather jacket and sunglasses. This is one of those projects.
ADG is extremely excited to be developing what will become one of Oklahoma's most iconic buildings. The Devon Boathouse will be the first of 3 university boathouses built on the Oklahoma River as a part a new development, Regatta Park.
This state-of-the-art boathouse is designed to serve the needs of rowers at all levels. The Devon Boathouse will offer the most advanced training tools available to serve elite rowers, along with classes and tools to instruct beginning rowers. Complete with an indoor rowing tank, lap pool, and weight and cardio space, the new home of OCU Rowing will be available for training year-round.
Rand Elliott, one of Oklahoma's most gifted architects, has designed plans for each boathouse in Regatta Park making it a world class facility with an impressive flow of design.
